Quel giorno la mamma prese Cantuccetto Rosso, ci mise dentro un bel pezzo di focaccia appena sfornata, una bottiglia di buon vino rosso, due riviste di moda, due bicchieri di cristallo e mi disse “devi portare Cantuccetto Rosso dalla nonna, perché stasera ha invitato il cacciatore per un aperitivo e non aveva niente in casa da offrirgli. Non fermarti però nel bosco, vai diretta dalla nonna perché è già tardi! Va’ va’…”. E così mi incamminai nel bosco, ma dopo poco decisi di fermarmi: appoggiai Cantuccetto Rosso per terra, reclinai il manico di legno e sfilai una rivista; iniziai a sfogliarla, quando ad un tratto un enorme lupo grigio si materializzò davanti ai miei occhi “Ciao bella bambina, cos’hai nel cestino?” risposi “della focaccia e del vino rosso… ci facciamo un aperitivo?”.

Dal voler riporre qualcosa di prezioso in un cantuccio protetto, Cantuccetto Rosso nasce come portariviste, ma grazie al suo coperchio asimmetrico, il ripiano più grande e graziosamente coperto da una tovaglietta di feltro rosso diventa appoggio per i bicchieri, mentre togliendo il ripiano più piccolo, tirandolo con le maniglie intercambiabili (i 4 soggetti), lo spazio che rimane può essere occupato dalla bottiglia di vino.

Cantuccetto Rosso è un kit di 12 pezzi, realizzato in legno massello (cirmolo), colorato con vernici naturali,  facilmente assemblabile e senza l’uso di colle. L’imballo è ridotto al minimo; il tutto in linea con la filosofia ecodesign. E’ proposto nella versione START UP e SOFT COVER, con l’inserimento di tessuto nel pannello frontale che diventa una sorta di cover intercambiabile per una personalizzazione di Cantuccetto Rosso.

That day my mum took Cantuccetto Rosso, she put in a big piece of freshly baked focaccia, a bottle of good red wine, two fashion magazines, two crystal glasses e she told me: “you have to bring Cantuccetto Rosso to your grandma, cause she invited the hunter for a drink and had nothing in the house to offer him. Do not stop in the woods, go straight to your grandma cause it’s already late! Go, go..”. So I walked into the woods, but soon I decided to stop: I leaned Cantuccetto Rosso on the ground, I lower down the wooden handle and I took out a magazine; I began to leaf through it, when suddenly a huge grey wolf materialized in front of me, “Hi darling, what’s in your basket?” I said “some baked focaccia and red wine… let’s have an aperitif?

Starting from the idea to store precious things in a protected corner, Cantuccetto Rosso born as a magazine holder, but due to its asymmetric cover and with the bigger shelf nicely covered by a red felt table cloth, it becomes a glasses holder, while removing the smaller shelf and pull it with the interchangeable handles (the four subjects), the remaining space can be used to store a bottle of wine.

Cantuccetto Rosso is a kit of 12 pieces made with solid wood (Swiss Stone Pine), colored with natural paints, easy to be assembled and without the use of any glue. The packaging is minimized; in line with eco-design philosophy. It’s proposed with the START UP and SOFT COVER versions, with a fabric in the front panel that becomes a sort of interchangeable cover that offers customization of Cantuccetto Rosso
